Nice bike Chris, how are you finding the 250F?  It cops alot of flak from people who test them as standard because of their restrictions (Euro Standards).

Great idea Chris

My quarter pounder........ A 2010 GasGas EC250ES4T

Powered by the honest 2006 Yamaha WR250F engine, 108kg and the very good GasGas EC chassis. Full ADR compliance. It's a nice little bike. Especially as it was purchased new from GasGas in May 2014 for less than $7k :)

Only fault so far....... 6.6 litre fuel tank, voltage regulator failed 1st ride but was supplied a new one no worries.

Mods

Force radiator guards

Force bash plate

Rekluse EXP series 3 clutch - Removed hydraulic clutch for easier on the trail adjustment

Zeta unbreakable levers

Reverse "race" slip on exhaust (gasser option supplied on delivery)

Temp probe and tacho lead for trail tech speedo

13/50 sprockets

Tubliss system

Bridgestone 403/404 rubber

Dirtriderz Sticker

Things I've got planned

Trip to "the chad" for bouncy bit tune up

Clarke 11L fuel tank

Refit hydraulic clutch (still debating)

Funnel web filter (when I figure out what fits)

So far I am very happy. Not riding it anywhere near its potential, the racy top end is somewhat exciting and a little hard to handle, but I'm getting there.

Nice to see you went with the yoshi Chris! Mines not as shiny so don't take many pics. Have a yz250f 11 model. Magura hydraulic clutch, rekluse, full yoshi system, 403 404 Bridgestone rubber, black plastics.

I like it, blows my hair back and all that. I do need to sink some more dollars into it soon, really need my suspension done, it's just proving hard to find someone competitive in WA. abypety9.jpg

You can always post your suspension out?? better than nothing

Ill always have a soft spot for the yammis

Yeah I emailed Chad the other day and he said this was an option just trying to prioritise my next few purchases. Chris I'm a big fan of the rekluse, the lack of stalling is a great thing my right leg definetly appreciates it lol! Very glad to have it.

I didn't mention I've got a jd jetting kit also, it was night and day over how it was running before!

Sherco SE250i, 2010. Picked it up in 2011 for a steal.

Mods,

Cat taken out of zorst

Bit of shim work on the forks

Force bashplate/ rad guards

Acerbis handguards

Other than that stock, more than enough power for me. Would't mind up grading next year as the new ones look great and have WP suspension.
