Which Tyre 505 or 525 for the rear and what for the front cheers.

525 Cheater in a 120....I wouldn't recommended them:P. Minimum Maximum 8psi to get the best out of them..

Front...whatever you are comfortable with, l stick to a Michy Starcross soft

Jono I can’t commit on the Shinko 505 BUT iv been running the Shinko 525 Cheater 120-100-18 rear & the Michelin Starcross 5 Soft 90-100-21 front for the last couple of years and have been very happy.

I run the Goldentyre fatty on my 300 which I put on after 1 ride with the stock tyre. I was immediately aware of the heavier steering and gyroscopic effect of the larger tyre. But it is sooo much better in ruts and over obstacles it’s worth it. I wouldn’t put one on my 501 or if I was doing a lot of fast tracks. But that’s just me, a trail hack.
