So tomorrow is 40-45kph winds. Gum trees occasionally spot a victim and attempt murder.

Seriously...Just wondering what's the usual thoughts about bush riding on windy days. I've seen a big branch crack and crash.  It was car squashing size. I'm guessing it's rare... Ummmm right?

I remember seeing a video  Beccy put up a fair few years ago @ i think it was Neerim, the winds came up & they were going back to the Cars ASAP, the sounds of the trees was pretty scary ! They came across a fallen tree & some of the noises sounded like gunshots, pretty scary stuff !

I was out clearing tracks up around big river last year when a storm came through and the wind picked up... Being in the middle of the bush, with not a track in sight, listening to all those trees creak and groan. It gives a new appreciation for the power of nature. Also made me pucker up a little bit and get the f**k outta there
