If your needing to run a 50 pilot then you are bandaiding an airleak somewhere in the pilot system and most probably it will be the jet block gasket has blown out.

If the bikes running ok as it is just leave it. If it starts running leaner or inconsistently then investigate.
Fyi, a perfect condition mikuni carby should run in a 27.5 to 32.5 range depending on weather and elevation conditions and a 50 pilot jet on a mikuni carb is the approximate equivalent of a 60 pilot in a keihin carb,so it's bloody huge.

Yeah, its been running sweet with this set up for over a year, so if anything changes, I’ll look into it. Ta.
