We should propose they open ALL tracks, all areas, in the Wombat. Some awesome tracks are closed...for the reason., As told to me by the local ranger..."they're not loop tracks" ...does that mean we close the track to Cape York? Dunderheads.

It's part of the VEAC crap.

Join us on the Facebook group - Bush User Groups United. https://www.facebook.com/groups/453169665130507/

They have organised rallies and contacted MP's etc. to try and put a stop to the Labor/Greens 'Great National Park' idea which will shut down Wombat, Pyrenees and a few other State Forest areas by reclassifying them as National Parks!!

Greens are unreal, they should make those flogs walk from one end to the other so the really understand how much forest is there.

you will find a lot of greens and land conservationists live around forests and are avoiding the city for peace and quiet but along the way they want everyone else to avoid the forest too but it does not mean they own it and make their own rules and laws.

The VEAC  recommendations came out today.

Cobaw will be hit the hardest, a complete lockup, almost everything out west will become locked down NP's once it goes ahead.

Labor trying to win over greens votes.

My 2 cents....

Wow...!!! Nothing like taking another free outlet off society. Somewhere to get away from it all or take your partner mates or family out especially on Fathers Day riding bikes.

In an age of child obesity social media

playstations and all the other ass warming activities bring back the 80.s.

By the way Im sure the government profited considerably in part from all the left over mining damage to the forests and uncapped mine shafts that don't seam to matter.

That is all

And along will come some person that never goes into the bush and couldn't care either way but wants a political superannuation plan and wants to make a name for her/himself by saying they converted all the state parks into national parks.

Go to here guys, this is the actual VEAC submission response page.

http://veac.vic.gov.au/investigation/central-west-investigation/upload

The more responses opposing VEACs proposal the more chance it'll get knocked back. (I hope!)

Unfortunately in today's political correctness society the loudest minorities make the most changes to suit their own agenda.

The area's with shaded lines will be locked down, anything with track in the name will be have a gate: "management vehicles only"

In their other report, they recommend 90% of vic state forests become national parks, they will tell you where to camp and how much to pay.  Cobaw will be a complete lockdown.

It looks like game over, the Labor government uses these groups for sham feedback, the LXRA does the same thing and they claim everyone wants this, just like a skyrail in their back yard.

Vote greens. Bunch of tree hugging brick and concrete loving junkies, m6 reasoning locking these parks up etc kills more wildlife through "severe wildfire that was unprecedented" than cattle, wood harvesting, use and proper management will be the only way forward, sorry touchy subject for me, my 2 cents worth.

Pyrenees and MtCole are on the same boat , Vote for Louise Staley since she is the only one that’s against all this.
