  1. Joel, is the navigation book shareable? I'm not sure of its setup, was it an app? I would love to get a hold of the rally 2021 map/route and ride it with mates one weekend this year before next years comes around.
  2. Instead of creating a new thread, I'll bump this one. I'm heading to Dissa this weekend, as above, would also love to hear some recommendations of where to go, L2 maybe L3. Camping / starting from Number One Camp. TIA
  3. Thanks. What are your top 2 or 3 places DP? (We're Level 2)
  4. If I got my bike a few weeks before this rally instead of the weekend before, I would have went. Previous years videos looked like it is a blast.
  5. Used to? Just don't ride there anymore or it's no good anymore?
  6. Thanks DG. I found a Forest Fire Management Victoria App, 'More to Explore' which has trail bike unloading areas marked on their maps. They only had one marked for Kinglake West and it's the same one you mentioned. So I'll be unloading there. Great idea on a parmy at the pub! Didn't even think of that. I'm on rec reg but I'm sure I can still find a way to the pub
  7. I just downloaded MoreToExplore today. Haven't used it in the field but will do this Saturday. It's Victoria Forest Fire Management app. Shows you trail bike unloading areas. Can save offline maps. Sounds promising.
  8. I've heard good things about the Kinglake West area plus it is central to me (east suburbs) and my mate (west suburbs) so was wanting to go explore it this Satdy. But I have no idea where to unload from. Does anyone have a starting point and a good loop/track to check out? Level 1 + 2 would be ideal. Hopefully someone can help me out. Thanks
  9. Hey all, I got my licence in 2014 and bought a Ninja 300. Upgraded when I got off my restrictions 15 months later to a 2013 Daytona 675R. I still have both bikes to this day. I bought a track 13 675R in 2018 and went full on track days and also started racing with Hartwell. Did that for a couple of years, quit my job and am now a stay at home dad. A few road riding friends decided to try dirtbikes a couple of months ago and so I decided to join them. I bought a 2012 YZ450f with rec reg (WR's are too expensive!) and just camped out at Noojee last weekend for my 1st ever ride on dirt. I think my road riding has helped me as I feel I picked it up pretty quickly, already feeling pretty comfortable on it. Joined here to perhaps join you guys on a few rides to show me/us where the good places are to ride!!! Cheers, Adam. P.S. Don't have any dirt bike pics yet but here is a vid I took last weekend on my first hill climb on a friends WR250f https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ua8xzdYUNao (Yes terrible camera angle, first time using it on my new helmet)
