Thanks Mr Noodle, I read the newbie must reads soon as I joined and had a bit of a a browse around a the site. I think I should be safe jumping on a level two ride first up and see from that where I'm at. Cheers for the welcome. Won't be out for a few weeks now at least unfortunately as im sporting some cut bangs and bruises plus a big ding in the rim of my bike after my ride at kinglake today where a ute came flying around a corner on extons Rd nearly collecting me. Anyway I managed to keep the bike up and get around this wide running car but as we passed a log came off the back and struck my front wheel. I guess I wasnt meant to escape the stack this time. If only I had a helmetcam. I think darn what would that have done if it had hit me instead of the bike. The Drz 400 tough as a coffin nail minimal damage considering a decent sized log hit it at speed. If started straight away and got me back to my ute after I had recovered. a positive for the day was making it up a rock face I have put off for a couple of years so it wasn't all such a bad day.

  4. Hi folks, was told about dirtriderz by a bloke myself and a friend met on a ride some months ago up at Wesburn on a day I had forgotten my boots and worn trainers hence sat in the car for two hours so my mate could ride with this guy who's name escapes me. (Bloke was riding a Honda 450 if you know who you are g'day) Anyway I finally got here looking forward to getting out to ride with some new faces and the chance to learn more about this hobby of ours which for me has become such an important part of existence the last three years.
