  1. What a day this was. Was so excited about this ride i couldn't sleep the night before Me and Mattibbo got there around 8:15 for the ride. Had to do a quick chain adjustment while waiting for Mess but all sorted. We started off in the blue gums area which i had never done before which was good. Lots of little hill climbs, log jumps and some awesome terrain. It was a bit to dusty for my liking at that back of the pack but didn't really concern me to much. We got back to the cars around 10:30-11 for a quick rest and fuel top up (for me) and we were off again. We then all hit the creek, this is where we had our bike issue. At this point 6 of the 9 blokes had left leaving just fab, matt and me. We continued on our way doing the sisters and hamburgers added an extra 15km to our ride with a total of 50km. Awesome day out on the bikes, thanks to Fab for the ride, thanks to riles for sweeping. Catch you all soon
  2. Yeah definately a registered one as we will be doing rides out the bush
  3. Finally was able to convince my wife to get on a bike instead of a horse :-) So... What do people recommend for a first bike? She's 5f8"ish and wants something she can touch the ground with. Never ridden a bike before either. TIA
  4. what sort of riding do you enjoy?
  5. What a day of riding it was on Saturday, I had originally cancelled the ride due to injuring myself. But after tossing and turning and waking up early and having the car loaded already i just went, glad i did as well. Started our ride around 9:30ish, felt a little bit gumby for the first half hour but after getting used to the terrain I started to ride really well. After a couple of hours i started to have some bike issues, not running properly and stalling quite a bit. Pete adjusted the mixture/idle screw to try to get it to run better with not really any luck. Then the battery died from starting the bike really frequently which left me to kick it all the time. Unfortunately it never kicked first kick, always 10+ kicks which tired me out really quick. I pulled the pin around 2:30 with frustration on how my bike was performing. But still had an awesome ride, and would love to do it again soon. Thanks again Pete for putting this on and all the rest for coming to make this an enjoyable day. 7. Hey guys, I have got a te300 that is using a fair bit of fuel, averaging around 65km to a tank which seems very excessive. Its just been fully rebuilt, but was getting very similar km's previous to that aswell. What jets does everyone use in their carbys? i'm not sure which ones i have in at the moment. Just looking for a bit of advice. TIA
  8. This is horrific, what sort of pleasure do people get out of doing this to people. They could've been killed!!!
  9. Looks like you guys had an awesome time!! Some intense tracks there
  10. Couldn't have said it better myself [emoji1]
  11. Think I may get one real good quality. Whats battery life like?
  12. How was your leg after that. Looked quite nasty after you took your boot off
