    350 riders

Took my 13 Kato 350 exc out today for some open stuff and a run around the forest. I’ve got 99 hours on it and have had no issues whatsoever. I have no flame outs. Starts straight away with the choke. I was actually thinking today that the bike feels like new. I am happy with it and can’t see myself getting rid of it.

    What Pisses Me Orf....!!

Not getting out on the bike much anymore and having nothing to contribute. ^^^^ ha that's me. What really pisses me off is getting old and getting injured easier. At 45, I have decided to take up cricket... lol. 4th training session and somehow I don't know how, I have tweaked my knee. As a youngster, I was never injured, always pretty coordinated. The knee is just about right after a week, but it doesn't give you much confidence when you don't even know how you did the injury. I am regularly in the gym and eat healthily doing the best I can but don't do much cardio. Getting old sucks!!!!

    Bruised / Fractured Ribs

Get well Geoffro. Hope the Sherco is not banged up.
  4. Mine would not be a permanent home. I would love to own a houseboat and have it moored somewhere near Echuca or near Torrumbarry. I recently had 4 days on one that had everything including spa and barbecue. It was the best holiday. Just pull up at the next sandy beach for the night.

    New hoops

I would be pretty pissed off. After all the effort of fitting them, now you have to do it all over again. Absolute rubbish. They took you for a ride. Pardon the pun.

    Freeride Reliability

My girlfriend has one. It is good for her as she is short. Went through a big puddle one day. Did exactly as Bike Nut stated and drowned the bike. $1000 later. We don't ride through puddles anymore! Apart from this, the bike is great.

    Setting suspension sag.

Thanks Cluffie, I think I can remember them saying that they wound out the preload. I'll check the static sag and go from there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Setting suspension sag.

Thanks guys. Yeah I thought I would be underestimating my pack weight. There would be 2.5kg water in my camel back lol. When I got the bike, they set the forks about 10mm up to help me out with my lack of height. I am wondering if I should move these back flush. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Hi there, Just wondering if many riders worry about setting up suspension sag. Currently, I am 71 kgs without gear. I am guessing I would be around 75-76 with gear. When I got my bike from the shop new, they mentioned that the current suspension would be about right for me. (350 exc). Have many of you guys worried about setting or checking the sag? I have watched a couple of vids on this and it appears that you need 3 people to do it. This is not a trick question and I am not trolling. I am not sure if I need to worry about it. The reason I am thinking about it is because I have never really been that confident with the front tyre grip. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    350 Freeride battery options

Cluffie, I got a Motobatt for my exc and it has been good but I noticed that it was prob about a 15mm increase in height which was okay for my bike, but the Freeride is super tight for space. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    350 Freeride battery options

Thanks Noods, does Walks send them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Hi all, I am charging up my GF's Freeride battery. The bike hasn't been used much in the last year. It may need an upgrade on the stock battery. I am wondering if anyone has replaced the battery and what with. The mounting box is so tight that it will not accommodate anything bigger. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
