Ehat would ypu reccomend near cobram for 2 blokes with dirt bikes and want to fish? We dont want to be anywerre near the young familys as we are respectful. 3. looking for a train partner for bikes

I guess il look into this better into the rec reg but i was told the 450r was not l worthy, only 450x i think. And to rider i have tried to find the same sort of group since i really want to get faster and race. Im 26 now so little time to race. I want to go week in week out but not solo caus ive stacked hard at bacchus alone b4 and that wasnt nice. Look im happy to ride mx anytime aslong as we dont have far to travel. Im a member of bacchus if you know that track?

Still waiting for my license to be full as i have a 450r...didnt relise i couodnt reg when i gt it on l's (im from ireland)
  5. Business up front - party down back

Good to see people have an eye out for these things. Had bikes stolen before with no leads and man does that hurt. If this guy is genuine then he will have his own pain to deal with very soon
  6. Standing floor on roof of van?

Awesome guys. I have been looking into this and it wasnt as pricey as i thought so im going to give this a shot on payday this week. Im still looking at other ideas untill i buy it but the 19mm board just seems easy rnough to do. I wont be wanting to sit up there everyday so taking a bpard is easy. I appreciate all the great help guys
  7. Standing floor on roof of van?

I am really liking this answer j-man. Im taljing to a mate now about these options. If the racks will hold with ply i wouldnt mind putting it on and off each time. So travelling wont be an issue. Would ypu use the standard 2 rails or more the better? Looking at a rhino roof rack for 750 3 racks. But says 120kg max load. The pic at the start would be ideal but im sensing big money caus it looks well made
  8. Standing floor on roof of van?

Cruiser, did this do any damage to the van? How did u get up, just jump and pull lol?
  9. Standing floor on roof of van?

So far this is the best info i have gathered. Only time i would use the roof is to view whatever activity im doing from above. My van cost me too much to not take safty steps (dnt care aboit myself gting hurt but dont want to hurt my van ) To walkahs, where could i locate something like the pic? That would work perfect with a bit of wood so i can place camp chairs. Does something like that cost a lot to install? Thabks again guys!!!
  10. Standing floor on roof of van?

Hey guys, I was going for a ride at broadmeadows mx park a few weeks ago and i saw a bloke with a hiace that had a flat floor panel on his roof with a ladder up to sit and watch the riders with a beer. I thought this was godlike and would love to do something like this. Online only has roof racks that support 100kg roughly eith no options to build a decking like structure on the van. My questiins are: can a merc vito 05 lwb be designed to support this? Are there any stores in vic that work on this sort of conversion? Is it going to caus to much damage to my van? Can vans be structured to support roughly 3ppl plus a big full esky on the roof? I want to build a camper/ touring van to travel aus next year with 2 mates. This may be posted in the wrong place but im struggling for any info, would never have thought of this untill i saw it myself. This guy had a driders sticker on his rear window but i didnt speak to him. If hes here, how did you do that!?!?
  11. Coolant for crf450

Hey guys im a bit stuck right now and about to ride in an hour... I pissed coolant last week and just remembered when i was going over bike this morning. I cant get to a bike shop where i am right now but i have a green bottle of general purpose antifreeze coolant i got from 7/11 on my way. Is this safe to use in my crf450r 2016? Im a bit precious of my bike but if its a one off with just topping it up will that be ok? Also coolant currently in bike is green ( told never to mix colours). Or should i just top up with water for the next 2 riding days and then flush it? I know the people on here will think its a dumb question but i honestly dont know...thanks for the help!!!
  12. How is starglenn?

Definatly worth it if u want a 'fun' time away. Wouldnt say its challanging. Good lookover points for the little curcuit and track with hill climb. They seem to be getting busy now so book a few weeks in advance to get the cabins if u want your own room. $99 a night with free breaky! Fits 4 and dosnt matter how many of you there are. 1 or 4 will cost 99. Also...i know its not for everyone but the bar was so cheap!!! Cans of jb for 5 and stubboes for 4...lol
  13. How is starglenn?

Ok so i just gt back from starglen lodge on 28/05/17 with my 3 other riding buddys and i will say without a doubt i will be back! The trails arnt extreme as i was able to complete everything i came across relativly easy, ofcourse i didnt gind everything there. The service was amazing since its just a family running it, they seem understaffed with the demand there recieving but not one complaint even when they were under the pump. 50 parmas on sat night with 3 staff plus everything else? If we had an issue all staff members were up and beyond trying to help us. As for the ride id say great for novice/amature to maybe more experianced riders. With the terrain we were on (rocky mainly flat/ single tight trails) it was easy to cruise along. For one of the only places to try enduro unregistered id say its a must for victorians if they wana try before getting all reged up. Thanks to the guys we met up there they were good fun and gave everything a crack. I think one of the guys was called brett whos a member on here i was told. I want to plan another trip up withon a month or 2 if we can get any guys who want to give it a go?
  14. How is starglenn?

Thats the exact reason i was asking. Cant remember who on here told me a while back to have a look into starglen and i was pleased as its exactly what id like to do! I have no bike license as im lazy as hell and after it went to $500 it has deterd me a bit. Bday 3 weeks away so wont have time to orginise license. I really appreciate the info 2t4me! I think il book 3-4 nights there then, il let you know how the property owners handle things when i get back
  15. How is starglenn?

Hey guys not sure if this is posted in the right section. I wanted to ask a few guys on here what they think of starglen lodge? Ive never been but love the idea of camping or bunking up, having a few beers at night with likeminded folk and cooking a good BBQ! I want to know what starglen has to offer for a lvl2+/3 rider looking for some fun. Or if there are any other holiday parks for dirtbikes in vic that you know of? Im on my 450r still so no plates/ reg ect, but will this matter on an owned property/farm? Any info would be great as my bdays may 23 and want to plan a little get away!
