Lost Rider At Neerim Found Yet?

Tubby I had one of those emergency foil blankets to keep him warm, also I guess take note of track names even if you're just exploring around incase something happens you might have a location to give. Take your phone to call for help. I had to leave him to find track names and then to find reception, checked odometer when I left him so I could give accurate distances to where he was and how much of that was accessible by ambulance. Obviously don't move them snd keep them as comfortable as you can, keep them awake and let them know help will be there soon even if it won't! That was my approach anyway... Lost Rider At Neerim Found Yet?

It was my mate Marty from here, it was us 2 riding. He hit a tree at about 70kmh after hitting a couple of washouts outta shape. Snapped leg, femur and fib I had to leave him to look for ambo/cops 2 hours later we had pain relief to him by ambo's and then in a chopper about an hour and a half later. The local neerim copper was awesome can't thank him enough for everything, top bloke! And the ambo's doing an awesome job when they eventually arrived. Thats 3 of my mates airlifted in less than a year... Be careful out there fella's! Sent from my GT-I9305T using Tapatalk 2

    Ktm 300

I think the frame changed in 2012. I had a 2010 300 and went to a 2012 250 and the handling is way better. The 300 was setup for my weight etc. And I haven't even had the 250 setup and notice a big difference. Sent from my GT-I9305T using Tapatalk 2
  4. My next door neighbor has an older vespa scooter he wants running. I had a quick look and found it has no spark and stale fuel. If anyone wants the job or knows someone could you let me know. Cheers. Sent from my GT-I9305T using Tapatalk 2

  6. Geoffro, people are giving their honest opinions Incase the bloke hasn't factored it in. I'm sure he can syphon out what he wants out of the thread and possibly gain more insight and possibly buy something more suitable that he hadn't realised. If he wants a 450 go for it pick one and go, but sounds like weight and handling is a big factor hence the other suggestions! Sent from my GT-I9305T using Tapatalk 2
  7. I ride a 250 2t and weigh 70kg's and love it, ive ridden my mates 450x and personally not a fan because of the weight. Its ok on open stuff but as soon as it gets technical it's so much harder to ride than my bike. And valve clearances and all the maintenance is more time consuming and expensive Sent from my GT-I9305T using Tapatalk 2

    Husaberg Te250 Estart Issues

Yeah can jump from your car, I was testing mine off a big marine battery awhile back. There both 12v. Then if thats all good, yeah grab a multi metre and check battery under load and then at starter under load and should find battery knackered or faulty leads etc if a big drop from battery to starter Sent from my GT-I9305T using Tapatalk 2

    Husaberg Te250 Estart Issues

I'd use a jump pack or battery direct onto starter. If it cranks well you know the starter is fine and its a battery or wiring issue Sent from my GT-I9305T using Tapatalk 2

    Crank Rebuild

^ na I think in tune do it in house. When I took my barrel there to be honed I said I was gonna take the crank to the bloke in Seville and he said they can do it there if I wanted for the same price, so I did. Sent from my GT-I9305T using Tapatalk 2

  13. My mates 06 450x has a shagged armature in the starter, so thinking an aftermarket complete starter is the go. Anyone know a good place to buy one or happen to have a second hand one they'd like to sell? Sent from my GT-I9305T using Tapatalk 2

    Crf 450X 06' Carby Tuning

Yeah marco starters out now and it's the armature that is shorting out.. New starter I thinks the best fix. Probably not worth the money rebuilding this one.. Sent from my GT-I9305T using Tapatalk 2
