[Wildwood Rock]

I would like to know if any Vic Clubs would like to join in a Extreme Pony Express Series.. Points to teams at each round with over all winnrs etc at the end.

Riders would take off in pairs and complete the tracks only helping each other.

4 or 5 hour time frames?

Change to the idea,,, Riders do lap for lap.

The Wildwood Track would be shorter with a few hills not in it.

Winners of the series would get a free entry into wildwood 2012.
Expert and Clubman class etc.

I say build it and they will come Steve. You have the facilities, proximity to Melbourne and plenty of dirt bikers wanting to have a crack.

If you are considering a pony express, perhaps also think about a a 12hr event similar to the Transmoto 12hr.

I cant be stuffed driving 6 hours each way to do a 12 hour

hows about a not-so-extreme option? you'd end up with a much larger crowd of interested parties, myself and the mrs included.

Yes it won't be a extreme as Wildwood Rock 2011, I will be taking out 3 hills and making a nice flowing track along the creek in some area's. So it will be more of a cross country with some of the extreme bits left in at the start area. (All will be cluby werthly)
I am just waiting for Jan and I'll be talking with 3 or 4 other clubs to get involved so we can have a good series or challenge out of it all.

You will need to be a senior to get around the track for the pony express.
I would see this ride taking place after July I would think.

So If you want to come and prerun the track up until then join the Wildwood Rock Motorcycle Club.
We have a practice ride marked in per month until the end of the year, gives you a good sneak peak at what I am going to add to the extreme track for the 2012 Force Accessories Wildwood Rock extreme too.

Wheels are slowly moving forward on this one Dirtriderz...

The last round would be in September held at Wildwood.
4 - 5 round will be held in the series.

I am looking at the 30th of September for the date of the Wildwood Pony.

Have had many good idea's thrown my way, but I am going to go with something like this.

First off - Grass track sprint / each person will line up and take part in a 3 lap sprint. Points from both will be grouped and carryied into the next 1/2 of the day.

Second Part - a 8 to 9km loop that includes the extreme area that will have items added to make it very easy and safe.
with the water before the finish line removed so you keep your boots a little bit dryer.
Each rider will do one lap at a time and must change when back in the pit area.

This is how I see the wildwood pony express working on the day. It will be open to any club to attend and you can do this on a day licence.
Entry forms will be made sooner to the date.
